Olvera Street-Dia De Los Muertos

Olvera Street is a Mexican marketplace on the site of the birthplace of Los Angeles.


I got obsessed with collecting cats and painting them for the day of the dead.
So I decided to expand with a trip to the cat's birth mother's home, Olvera Street.

There I got Frida Kahlo & Virgin of Guadalupe trinkets & postcards.

Frida Print in a vintage frame I decorated using: vintage earrings, shells, lace, chain, Swarovski crystals, buttons, beads, starfish, high heel & broken heart.

Twigs and Photos

I found some cool sticks and a white tumble weed while gardening. I decided to put up some photos I took in Thailand, Russia, Venice, Japan & Puerto Rico and give my twigs & memories a second life. The wire fish sculpture I did freshman year and college and it's probably my favorite thing I created all 4 years.
